Welcome to The Sleep Cycle! Like the stages of sleep, The Sleep Cycle is a 4-part educational initiative designed to help you recognize, assess, and treat insomnia and sleep disturbances—a growing public health problem. Each stage or component of the Sleep Cycle will take you deeper into self-directed learning, with 2 stages certified for CME credit.

Stage I is a case-based Expert Review Supplement to CNS Spectrums and Primary Psychiatry, available here to read online or print as a PDF. (CME-certified)

Stage II is a series of three Interactive Case Studies followed by a Q&A. Here, you will have the opportunity to make treatment decisions based on clinical evidence, and see how your decisions stack up against the experts. (CME-certified)

Stage III is the “Ask the Experts” question-and-answer forum where you can submit your questions and the faculty will answer. Questions and answers will be updated every 2 weeks so that you can see what your colleagues are asking and get expert opinions on perplexing issues in sleep.

Stage IV is a Resource Guide with recommended reading and helpful links to assist you in continued learning and implementing new information into your everyday practice.
