AccelaCast Platform Supports New Healthcare Video Initiative

SOUTHBOROUGH, MA – September 4, 2007

Accela Communications, Inc. the leading on-demand rich media services firm, has been selected by the Multiple Sclerosis Association of America (MSAA) to produce and deliver an interactive video series as part of MSAA’s new web communications initiative. The AccelaCast platform is increasingly being used by healthcare and medical sciences organizations to deliver video programs on-demand in the context of their own web sites, to disseminate information to broader audiences.

MSAA’s new web video initiative titled, A Closer Look, incorporates problem-solving techniques for patients, provides viewers with an extensive resource guide, and helps those with MS acquire the support they need. Viewers are encouraged to submit questions to MSAA’s staff and to provide feedback via online evaluation surveys. All AccelaCast programs feature extensive search capabilities, printable transcripts, and navigation tools to help viewers hone in on the content most important to them.
